i have had my tank set up for over 3 months now and for some reason my tank seems to be slightly cloudy. this occurs even after i do my scheduled water changes. what could be the problem with my water. i have a small amount of live rock and 50 lbs of asstd lava rock. no compact flourescent light
but all the neccesary filtration ect.... PLEASE HELP..

what i learned was everytime i used prime or something that was to elminate ammonia, nitratesm nitrites my tank would get cloudy. If you just do it the natural way your tank will never go cloudy.. Live Rock Live Sand..etc

Is the water sandy or cloudy. If it isnt sandy it could just be an algae bloom from higher ammonia. If ur tank is getting "cloudy" after water changes this just could be from just stirring up the sand.

IF this is only occuring after you do water changes then it is most likey the substrate being disturbed. If it is constant, it could be another issue. Can you post water parameters?
