Contradictory Test results

Ok all, how do you resolve this? I test my water parameters with the Hagen made test kits. When I decided to test the results against a Marsdel test kit, I'm getting 2 different results which are not even close! (One says my Nitrate is 5PPM, the other says 40PPM!!!) I did just lose a Feather Duster for some reason but everything else looks healthy. How do you figure the more accurate test is? Thanks!

Take it to the LFS and have the check it and see how your results stack up to theirs. FWIW, I don't consider either to be a "good" test kit, I personally use salifert kits.

I agree take it to the LFS. I have read many stories of feather dusters being lost after a few months. There are many post on it here. Please let us know the results of your test.
