Is there anything I should know abut corals before jumping into this hobby that you wish you would have known? Getting a 24 or 29 gallon cube

Depends on what kind of corals you're talking about. If it's your first reef I'd start with mushrooms, softies, or zoanthids.

If you're doing corals only, lighting will be the key. If it's an AIO system your looking at, you may want to research what the stock light is and consider an upgrade.

I personally think most soft corals and LPS corals are pretty easy to take care of. Get a good light, keep up with your water changes with some good salt. If you keep a good schedule, you shouldn't have any problems
