[200 gallon reef]

I have a 200 gallon reef tank. . . . Love it . . No problems at all. My girlfriend wants to turn her 54 gallon corner bowfront into salt. Any advice? I seems like a bad idea.

why would it be a bad idea?

you have to start from scratch with rock and sand but generally the filters can be used for it and if she has a wet/dry she can use the overflows and build a sump/fuge if she really wants to

Well. . . Im not sure if you have ever seen one of these . . . But there is very little room under the tank for filtration, skimmer, top off, etc . And because the front has such a curve to it, the magnet cleaners won't work. So I am imagining maintenence will be insane.

The magfloat works great for me even with the curved glass.
