So my tank is been up for a week now with a dead snail to help my cycle. I put in live rock that was cured from a 5yr tank and been testing my water daily. My sg is perfect as is. My ph. No ammonia or nirites have surfaced at all. Do u think I will be good to put a hardy fish or 2 in now?

Your tank probably has not cycled. If you do put fish in you going to get real busy soon. There is no way it has. Testing everyday, water changes everyday etc. Make sure it is fully cycled or face the consequences.

Most of us have had to do the fish in because of out LFS. If you dont have to don't. If you decide to be careful. Good Luck

if you transported the rock fully submerged in buckets it's quite possible you'll see no spike. you might just see a diatom bloom on the new surfaces. if the rock has been exposed to air and temperature changes for extended periods, you'll definitely see some die off as a result.
