Cycle question

Ok so I'm about 23 days into cycle and my ammonia was between 0-.25 and nitrites about .25...so me being an impatient person and not wanted to wait I threw another peice of shrimp in to make sure it'll go back up then back down. But the question is I don't really think the cycle was 100% so is that a bad thing that I put another ammonia source or is it just gunna help it out???

No it's fine, it will actually ensure you have a strong bb population. If you were using the api kits they tend to give false positives for ammo and nitrite so you may want to double check your results if you are showing trace amounts of these.

Yea I've been using my API test kit and I've heard that from quite a bit off people. It's been the same for prolly the past week once the ammonia dropped to .25 it hasn't gone down at all. But I figured it would help just wanted to be positive.
