Hi how many ibs of sand do I need for 12x12x12 refugeium to get a deep sand bed it comes out to be about 7.5 gallons

From what I remember, I think that you need 4in of sand to have a DSB. Not sure how many pounds that is though, sorry.

Thxs would 25 ibs be enough I would rather have more then less but not too much

That sounds like it could be alright I always buy more then I need lol just I case.
