Any tips on feeding would be much appreciated.

He will dig a den and pretty much hang out there. Might need to place food in front of him as with Morays, they like to ambush their food in front of their den. Lazy fish. The younger ones free swim more, but your challenge is to be sure he eats.
He's a strict meat eater. And they like most anything that has meat in it. Shrimp, clam, small silversides when they get bigger.
