Ok, i am trying to make sure i am covering all the basics. I think i might shoot for the sump first then the light.
What about supplements. I keep reading that the crustaceans in your tank need certain trace elements. Is this true and what do you suggest?

The trace elements you need should be in the salt that you are using. If not, they sell bottles of the trace elements.
Ok, quick question. Does anybody use anything like this in there reef or FOWLR tank?

the only thing that I know much about sponges is that you CAN NOT take them out of the water lol, but you already knew that.
