Favia Frags, now what?

I have a couple of favia frags and they are encrusting the actual plug now after a few months....My question is what do I do with them now? The are on the sandbed, should I move them to a small rock? I was under the impression they needed to be on the sandbed....I've only had larger ones so I have no clue about frags...

here are the ones in question...and yes, I am working on scraping the algae off the glass lol, but you can see them pretty well through it. lol

Move them to the rock. They should be fine on there. I've seen favia encrust onto live rock in people's tanks. I know open brains tend to do better on the sand but favia should do fine on the rocks.

A favia can do well in the rocks. I have one that has fully encrusted over the plug and I still have it in the sandbed...mostly because any higher my lights would nuke it.
