I just bought a yellow tang. I did all my research and know what it eats. The store where I bought it said they fed it this seaweed. What I want to know is how to keep it down under the water without it floating around? I heard of a vegi clip. What exactly is it and do I have to have one or is there another way? :?

a vegie clip is just a suction cup with a clip on it you an get them at almost all fish stores i have been told you can also wrap the seaweed around a small rock and rubber band it on,also have heard that you can put those glass stones in a corner of the sand bed and they get algae on them quick...good luck...

I am a newbie, but, I feed my tang a variety of lettuce that is wrapped around some coral or rock that will keep it underwater. Rubber bands work wonderful! It's a lot of fun watching the tang attack the lettuce.
