Nooooo give me beer! Ahaha. I might go with with no hdpe, I'm gonna paint the bottom black, anyways, it'll eventually get covered in coraline.
I'm gonna have to find a perfect aquascape before I cut the pieces tho.. Gonna be difficult because I love to rearrange my tank ahaha. What do you suggest a cut the rock with? A hack saw?

Yes i used a hack with a carbide blade. Some of the more pourous rock cut real easy. And maybe a beer after the tank is up and running lol

I used egg crate to line the bottom of my tank to protect it from the rocks. I have read a lot of people do it on here, you can get it in the lighting section at Home Depot for around $12.

Alright so this is my current tank. 38 gallons 2 clowns (paired) 1 lawnmower blenny. 1 taotronic light Corals and a Haitian anemone. I can't wait to upgrade! The tank should be here by Friday! I have a couple of questions, should I seed my new rock with some of the LR In my current tank?

Yes if you seed with some of the older rock it will shorten the cycle. Is the new tank going where the old ones is now? Nice corals BTW

I would use all of it .There should be little to no cycle if you did that. Match the temp for the corals and drip the fish and inverts.
Your gonna lose some of the bacti base do to the fact the some is on the sand and glass but it shouldnt matter it will bounce back in hours

I don't like the shape of my current rock, if I were to break it up with a hammer, would that be okay?
