Yeah, I wanted to give it a couple weeks on the plug before breaking it off. It's big and pug fugly.

Haha yep I hate those stupid ORA plugs... With my purple stylo I just got I managed to pop it out as it wasn't to encrusted. I just squeezed the sides of the plug and it popped out. You could try that too

I'm tired of that ORA plug. Is it safe to just break off the birdsnest, or should I take a little saw or knife to it to cut it off?

Use a razor to gently cut the glue holding it to the plug. Once off you can use a little super glue gel to glue it directly to your rocks

Well, this tank is no more...It's been torn down, and all the livestock moved into my new 40B reef tank.
