I have a 20 long reef. I recentley added a royal gamma basslet and my indigo dottyback is biting at him, recently bit off part of his tail. Whatdo i do??

Dottybacks are a holes. Same color and shape fish in a small tank that share similar territory. I’d either rehome the gramma or dottyback.

Dottybacks and Damsels are best left to nature. Mean little buggers. The only exception to that would be a captive bred orchid dottyback (not to be confused with the purple).

Re-home the dottyback. Basslets and dottybacks are both highly territorial so do not go well together in a small tank. You need to get rid of one.
