Freshwater sand for saltwater?
I'm converting my 55G freshwater tank to a basic saltwater live rock setup. I already have sand from when I used it for freshwater a few weeks ago. I'm wondering if I can use it for my saltwater snowflake eel setup?

I used this sand when I converted my freshwater tank to salt. I just rinsed it out and it worked fine for my saltwater tank.

depends on how fine it is I did it with very fine sand and all I ever had was a snow storm,
wound up switching it out

Coral sand will help buffer PH where basic inert freshwater sand will not so bear that in mind
