Fw test kit good for sw ?

no and yes...depending on what test your running read the instructions on the box it should list if you can use it with saltwater....or post the test and brand and we can tell you if compatible with saltwater...

I just tested my salt water for ammonia and it turned it a milky white
That's a new one for me

if its the api master test then yesm but colors will be different. i know with ammo any green means ammo... not sure with the others... the milky look is normal.
i know hondatek knows the difference
