Good skimmer for 90 gallon?

I was considering a Reef Octopus Classic 200INT 8 Internal Protein Skimmer for a 90 gallon reef. Is this overkill, or not enough? Also, when it says 8", does it mean height or diameter? I'm curious what size of sump this will need. Any help would be awesome. Thanks
