A Feather Duster was attached to my Elegance coral. Now the elegance coral is dead, but the feather duster attached to the side is fine. So my question is: Can I somehow remove the feather duster from the side of the coral without killing it? It has a long black tube, that stems out from the side. I don't have a camera or i would attach a pic.

I plan to throw out the remains of the elegance coral, but i would like to save the feather duster!

Thanks for any suggestions

Can you break the coral skelaton so that only the area the duster is attached to remains? A pair of needle nose pliers might help!

Cheers
Steve
