How do you fight cyano

Does anyone have any experience killing red cyano in a mostly sps dominated tank?

Cyanobacteria is a nutrient issue in the water column in low flow areas.
Increased flow will stop it from being able to grow, which higher flow is something sps corals like, but it will not solve the nutrients in the water column.
Large water changes with ro/di water on top of the weekly 10% water changes will get you ahead of the problem, though it takes time. Iíd also suggest that you donít use any of the liquid foods for coral, they polite your water column and are usually a big cause for this. Photosynthetic corals donít need fed as they get all they need from the lighting and broken up fish poop.

Neither. In such a small tank youíre just polluting the water.how many fish are in the tank? How often do you feed the fish and corals? Are you using rodi water for water changes and top off? Is TDS 0 coming out? There are many potential causes of the cyano, the coral food is just one of the issues.

You want to sparingly feed your fish, but the liquid food has to go.
With tap water you are go g to have issues. If you want a sps tank youíll need ro/di water to go cyano free.

You can but is more of a bandaid. If you donít solve the root cause which is nutrients it will just come back.
