I have a 120 that has just cycled. I have checked the water and all the tests read good. I have only one power head (a 750) on the right side glass.
Should I have another power head? If so what rating? Is there optimal placement in a 120 for the heads?
The left side of tank where there are no power heads does have a slight buildup of brownish tint on sand. Diatoms? Or just poor circulation?
This will be a fish only tank.

I would say at least threee, more depending on their sizes. Two in the front creating lots of flow for corals and fish, and one blasting water behind the rockwork to keep flow up all around the rocks (better flow means better natural filtration by the rock).
