I have the Eshopps Micron Bag Holder with the included sock mounted on my sump.

Works very well. I purchased several of the socks so that I can remove one to clean and replace it with a fresh one. I have a total of 4 socks. I hear a lot of people putting these in a washer to clean. That is the reason I purchased 4 socks so that I could wash 3 bags each time and not feel like I am running a load of laundry for 1 sock. My question is, what steps are you taking? Are you using something special to clean it with? Detergent? What are you doing with the bags until you wash them? Will they smell if I leave them out until I have 3 dirty ones? Should I keep them submerged in water until I wash them? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
