How to deal with salt creep?

I hate salt creep, such a mess. How do you deal with it? Do you just have to be there wiping down the tanks edge everyday?

It is a pain, I lowered the water a bit in my tanks (HOB filters) keeps the water from splashing so much. But still have to wipe off salt creep, not as bad now!

it might also be cause by popping micro bubbles

Reduce bubbles in the display, reduce splashing, keep the surface moving without ripping/splashing.

Is it better to have just a light and leave the top of the tank open, or have a hood that covers the top of the tank?
