i had two cleaner shrimp before, but the big one died away and i suspect it was due to the water condition (the water was probably in the 2nd phase through cycling when i put the shrimps in>_<) now, the smaller one has molted twice since 9/10, which i suppose its doing really well. but i want to add one more in to accompany him as well as make them into pairs, so maybe some day they'll mate and get me some more little cleaner shrimps
so i want to know how can i tell the gender of a shrimp. what can i use to determine if its a female or male?
thanks! ^_^

Cleaner shrimp are hermaphrodites, if you have a pair, they will take turns carrying the eggs, so whichever you point to and say "that's the female" your right ;)

ohhh 8O

haha, thanks for the tip! now that i know they are "interchangeble" thats a lot of help 8)
