lol like it says yes i am back . i started on this site about a year ago when i was setting up my 55 gal rr tank . it was a sad day when i have to sell it due to moving back to Illinois from phoenix AZ . i had so much time and money invested into and since i only had three days before the move was going to happen i had to let it got complete for 150.00 . i told myself i would not get myself the deep just to lose again . but me and the wife missed are fishy friends .

well hears the story that brought me back. i was over working on a friends jeep one night and he started talking about fish tanks . i was telling him about the one i had when i was in az and how me and the wife would love to start another one . then the next day i got a call from him saying hay i got this 90 gal rr tank with stan and canopy i need out of my house if your interested in it come buy and get it . so the next day i found myself picking it up bring it home .

not to crazzy about the stan and canopy so in the next week or two going to be making a custom new one for it . i got the sump done already got the back painted with a black texture paint i thank makes it look killer . once the stan and canopy are 100 % done then i will go into more detail . here is a few pics as it set now . i will do my best to take tones of pics and update this as much as i can but it is going to be a slow build . money is getting tighter due to the fack the wife and i are getting ready to welcome are second child into the world in july

plz enjoy and follow along on this roller coaster ride with me

Congrats. At least you know the mistakes you may have already made so it won't happen again!

The stand looks sturdy as h****. I did notice that you have a corner overflow. Did u leave space at the corner of the stand for your plumbing?

yea i left the space for it . i really made it one inch wider then the tank just for that reason .

also on another note picked up some tiger wood tonight to start wrapping the stan tomorrow since i don't work till 3 pm . still a long ways to go from done .

thanks for all the complements

another small up date . got the stan all skinned . still got to cut out the doors holes and make them do some sanding and staining then a lot of trim work . the the canopy will get started . hears a few picks up the update . that tiger wood is going to look killer when i am done

Looking great! Wish I had those skills to do stuff like that. lol Thats gonna look awesome when youre done. :)

lol skill na not me . sad part is all i got a a cheep hand saw and drill . course as you can see i made a mistake and made it a little to wide so i got to correct that i am hopping to tomorrow . but sorta had to put on hold as my truck trans is starting to go and got to drop it off in the morning to get repaired . i cant complain i got three hundred and sixty eight thousand miles out of the first one . will update more as i get there tho

got another small update got some trimming done on the tank . pics wed on my day off so i can finish the trim work first . after that the build will be on hold for a bit . my truck decided to blow its trans and i cant live with out my truck / money maker lol . so soon as i get that paid for then it will be back to the tank

as promised update with pics . about 95% done with the stan . sill need one more piece of trim for the side back panel and then deiced the trim to wrap around the tank it self then make a couple doors then some stain time . tell me what you thank so far
