Increasing SG

The SG in my 55gal tank is now between 1.021 & 1.022. Want to increase. I have mixed a new batch of water measuring 1.023.

Will it be OK to do next water change of 3 gal, using this new mix? Don't want to increase SG too fast.

Doing what you say will do fine.

Durring your next water change add some saltwater with a slightly higher SG than the water in the tank and your salinity will go up. I would not add saltwater to replace evaporation. This could affect your SG more than you had initally wanted.
