Instant Ocean Vs Red Sea?

Hi.. I know all of u r very expert in saltwater.. I need ur suggestion which salt is better for saltwater tank if i want to have a lot of LPS coral.. Instant ocean or red sea? Or anything is much more better than dat?

Both are perfectly fine salts to use. I have been using regular Red Sea salt for close to 20 years. When it's not available at my LFS, I buy Instant Ocean.

But when i'm using RedSea salt, the params show tgat nitrite contain is about .5 to 1.. Dats will create a problem rght? Or effect from i keep it as a reserve water for a long time is about two to three weeks? How long reserve water can be keep without effect the params?

Are you using ro/di water when you mix your salt water? it's kind of odd that salt mix will have nitirites in it.....

I use instant ocean reef crystals myself, cheapest salt mix I can find and seems to be good for my tank.
