Jewel Lido 120

Hi,

We want to replace our nano tank with a slightly bigger one and have seen the Jewel Lido 120. It comes with all filter media and heater built in but does not have a protein skimmer.

In a tank of this size (120l) is a protein skimmer actually necessary given that we will have a large quantity of live rock in there and will continue with regular water changes?

Does anybody have any experience of using this tank as a marine set-up?
