I've read a little bit of this so far. What you are doing is amazing!

Really hoping to have the corals out of my house & in the store by the end of January and then the rest of the tanks hopefully cycled shortly after that.

I'm going to fly all the way from NH to California just to see you store! :p Lol but if I could do that without it costing any gas money or flight expenses I would. Looks better than any lfs out here will ever be already!

Whew long day. Got the main system (7 tanks as of now) that is tied together filled and running. I'll post some pics tomorrow as I was too distracted to take any today lol.

Few pics of the progress. Main system running. Now I should have the 180 stand & canopy back by this weekend (a customer of mine is building out the stand bigger & making a new canopy) and plumb that up hopefully Saturday. If all goes as planned that one will be running by Sunday and then after the tanks are cycled I can transfer my livestock from my house and them break down and transfer the tanks & stand from there too. The 180 will be in front of the two rows of tanks blocking the maintenance aisle.

Happy New Year to you, and everyone else subscribed!
I was wondering what lighting you were thinking about for the coral tanks, and the fish tanks in the store.

Happy New Year to you, and everyone else subscribed! I was wondering what lighting you were thinking about for the coral tanks, and the fish tanks in the store.

I am running everything on LED (except the overhead florescent lights) so far. All the lights in the main system (the blue albatross I built lol) have Ecoexotic stunner strips. The two coral flats on the blue stand have the stunner strips along with the Kessil A360 lights. The two 6' x 3' coral flats have the Aqua Illumination Sol Blues, and the 180 has the Aqua Ilumination Hydras. All the fuge lights are par 38 LED lights from the hardware store. The 55 gal I use at home (for live rock, live sand, and softies) & am transferring later has a freshwater LED so far.

Looks great Keith! I gotta say it has a nice clean look with the LEDs I sure would feel like spending money in there. Wishing you much success this year!

I truly appreciate the well wishes :) It has been quite a project taking all this on. Sometimes it gets frustrating or discouraging but every now & then someone like yourself has some well wishes, kind words, and encouragement makes it all worth it!

Okay so it's still a mess in here but some updated progress pics. The 180 stand isn't ready yet so I can't close off the end of the maintenance aisle yet.
