kh-kalkwasser

hi. does anyone no what caused my water to stay cloudy and little balls of kalk to float and desolve very slowy? this happened a couple yrs back when i used marine buffer and not kalkwasser mix. the problem was corrected with a water change back then.ph8.3, kh 15 yes it is high, nitrate 20 ,cal do not know my guess 420 temp 79-80.

Not sure how you could have little balls of kalk floating if you weren't using kalk It sounds like you buffered your ALK high enough to cause a precipitatio event.

sorry i did not have balls back then, only that milky white cloud. water change again unless you have an other idea. thanks walt 8)
