Those are the 'taotronic' leds that are used pretty frequently here. I'd get a dimmable panel, but they will keep anything photosynthetic under them.

Is it hard to to set up leds to automatically go through the cycle of sunrise to sunset to moon lighting? What all would need to be done to accomplish this?

What is the difference between automatic dimmable lights and manual dimmable lights?

LEDs that can be programmed are usually more expensive. Ones that you can dim manually work just as well, just will come on when a timer tells it to and turns off at another scheduled time.
