light cycle

hey guys, my 65 sw is up i got a pair of clowns in it. I got a Fluval Sea Full Spectrum Marine & reef light, as i plan on puttin in some corals, come summer/fall. What kind of light cycle is good? On both FW tanks I have 4 T5s at 7hrs a day. Ive read 12hrs with all lights, then 12 with just the blues, but this sounds like it would kill me on algae, but i know SW is different. so whats a good regimen?

I run 7-8 hours full lighting and an hour either side of that for the blues, then darkness...

I run my leds at peak power for 7 hours, and run them total time of 10 hours.

With T5 lights, just run it 7-9 hours...
