I have a 48in coralife duel t5 fixture. Planning on upgrading in the future but can I have any corals with this light?

What size tank? More then likely softies and nps will be your only options for now like zoas mushrooms and sun corals.

Ya that's pretty deep for just a dual bulb you will want to stay with just low light corals.. to have the options of anything you will want to change lighting type or get a 6-8 bulb t5 ho fixture
