I have a few 2" strips of the true lumen led strips in royal blue that I plan on adding to the hood. Would those be strong enough?

I also noticed that the rock they came on has a few green bubble algae. Is there a way to remove the algae? It's not very pretty

Remove it carefully with your hand without poping them so it doesnt spread.

Yes, change your salt mix to a reef grade salt mix.

I use a sharpened screw driver to scrape the base off the rock. Be careful not to pop it, and any piece you leave will grow back. I usually do it at wc time so I can siphon it out right away.

Ok thanks everyone. I'm not sure if I can get to all of them as it's covered in mushrooms and it appears that a few of them are on one of the mushrooms
