lighting made easy

hi all iam very new to saltwater and dont want to make any mistakes that will cost the lives of these beautifull creatures.. i was hopeing that some one would explaine what the different lits are that i can get iv see so many and have no idea whats what.. iv seen white blue sun natural t5 t8 halidae (i think thats right) also loads of different wattages.. i just dont want to get it wrong

What is your tank size? What you think to have inside?

ok i only have a little 15g nano cube only live rock and sand in at the min.. i think i have 2x 18watt blue/white tubes... but i was wondering about all the types for future reference when i upgrade
