I currently have a 36 gallon bowfront tank that is a holding tank for cichlids. I need to get rid of these because I don't have the space necessary to upgrade tank size as they grow.

I want to flip that tank into a FOWLR tank and need ideas for lighting. I do have a Marineland Double Brite LED panel but am unimpressed with the lighting as a whole. Does anyone have any relatively inexpensive options that have worked for a fish only or FOWLR set up in the past?

I am also up for equipment and stocking suggestions as this would be "my" first saltwater build.

You don't need a light for a fowlr, but there are relatively cheap leds made by taotronics on amazon and similar lights on ebay that you can use. Cost about $150 each.
