Live rock cycle ?
When doing a new tank live rock only cycle. Should lights be on or off ?

Keep your lights off it will reduce the amount of algae - you should also add an ammonia source to cycle the tank properly, just the die off from the live rock usually doesn't produce that much ammonia.

I agree. Lights are not needed during the cycle.
