Live sand

Been putting together list after list of what I want in my new tank, I see Hawaiian live black sand.... Anyone running this? Like it? Comments?

I had this in my tank awhile back but ended up taking it out. I like the look of the black but unfortunately it was like a mix between sand and gravel which I didn't like. But if the larger pieces wont bother you then it's worth it.

I use the Hawaiian black sand in my 10 and I like it. Save the money and don't buy the "live", it's really just wet and any sandbed will become live as your tank cycles

IME it made my tank look a lot darker. I didn't like it, so I took it out. If I had lots of coral on my black sandbed, then it would better than just bare black sand.
