livesand storing

I am setting up a new tank, and was painting the background tomorrow - planning to move the tank upstairs and add water this week.

My plans were kicked into high gear tonight when someone said they had 100lbs of livesand for me, already pulled and in a few buckets

I want to keep the livesand live - but will need some time (day or 2) to get everything ready before I can add the sand.

my question...how do I store/keep the sand? Rubbermaid with saltwater? Do I need to keep the temperature up?

Thanks in advance!

Mike

Rubbermaid with SW, a couple of poerheads, a heater and an air stone. Should be fine

Is this sand from his tank. If it is you`ll need to rinse it out in SW to clean it out. I personally would not use it because it most likely has alot of trash in it but you can try to clean it out if you want.
