LR identification...

I just purchased these rocks, i know lil about LR and just curious about whats is on them can anyone tell in these picks, good or bad or is it too early?

Looks pretty porus and should be good to go. Those are feather dusters on the rocks.

Will it survive, I just started cycling the tank... here's what's in the tank:

50 gal tank
(Not live) sand
20lbs base rock
12lbs live rock
