Maintaining ph

What's the best way to maintain my ph without having to use a buffer??

Keep powerheads aimed at the surface to keep it agitated keeps it stable . Also if you have a refugium have an alternate light cycle . Should help it a lot.

Thanks I dont have a fuge, but I've been considering getting a second power head anyways maybe that's part of my problem
