maroon clownfish question

i have a lone maroon clownfish in my tank currently. was wondering if its possible to add a mate for him or should he be left alone?

Will likely be a female if on its own should be fine as long as the new one is a male.

dont they usually switch genders to the dominant one being the female? so would it matter if i got either or? or are these specific?

Males will change into female if no female females won't change into males in the presence of another female though they will just fight
