Mirrored backdrop

Can I put a mirror behind my tank? Fish freakout?

Some fish mite but not usually, it seems to help schooling fish in low numbers a bit but that's opinion, a beta won't like a mirror at all

My 30g has a mirrored back and my two clowns don't seem to mind it at all. I only have clowns now but we'll see when i get another fish.
