My cardinal will not come out?

I got my pajama cardinal on friday and he is just hiding behind some LR, I know they are nocturnal but im not even seeing him at night, I have not seen him eat either, I am worried! ( do I need to get him a "buddy"?)

Almost all fish hide at the begining. They or he will come out more as he gets used to your tank

Yep. I'll bet in the next couple days or so, you'll see him hanging out right in front of the tank....just sitting there with that blank stare on his face.
