My little lawnmower......

I have a medium blue regal tang, just get her about a week ago. Everything is well, finally, but I have a quick question. I have a pretty bad hair algae problem, and she has taken right to it. But the funny part is, she has seemed to just shorten it, eating it right to the rock, so now everything looks like a well manicured lawn all over my rocks. Will she eventually eat the algae off the rock, or will she just leave herself a yard anyone could be proud of?

I am serious, it is really funny to see a thin, even layer of green hair all over my rock. Well, at least it is not long enought to flow in the breeze any more.
