My PH is kinda low

Just tested my tank for the 2nd time this week and the PH is hovering right around 8.0. Is this to low? How can i raise it?

8.0 is on the low side of acceptable, but not low.
What is your Alk?
What time of day are measuring? PH tends to take a dive at night.

AlK is about 4.0 and im testing in the late afternoons around 1 PM. Ill test again earyl tomrrow morning and see if any changes occur.

early in the a.m. pH tends to be lower (due to carbon dioxide buildup overnight).

My pH is also around 8.1 as well. Would adding a lime stone help rise pH level ?
