i have a 14 gal. oceanic biocube i am setting up for dwarf seahorses. i have it set up and running with all its original parts and settings. i have read and heard some say it needs to be tweeked or modified, like the filter. intakes and all that other stuff. im clueless on modifying a tank. does anyone know of how to make it safe for dwarf seahorses? also i read that the temp. for those tanks need to to be fixed with a cooling thing (sorry i dont rememer the name for it.. like an aquatic ac :)) i have noticed that i cannot get my tank to stay under 80F, and i need to have a temp of 76-78F. i do have a heater hooked up but the setting is on lowest because of odvious reasons. any info tips and tricks would be greatly appriciated.
thanks

I can't help you on the preps for a seahorse other than cover up intakes so they don't get sucked in.
You can lift the lid to let some of the heat out or run a fan.

thanks i lifted the hood for a day and a half now and it cooled down a good 5F.
thanks
