I recently bought and installed this skimmer on my 20g and it works amazingly well! I highly recommend this product, it is quiet, efficient, only took about 2 days to break in and start skimming out brown nasty bits, and is affordable. Only drawback I can think of, if you place it in your display tank instead of a sump, you will have microbubbles in your tank.

Well, just saying that you don't need a skimmer for a 20. I don't run one on mine, and many others don't either.

If your interested in a skimmer reef octopus makes some good hob ones. But as macscale said there not required on a 20. I run a 20 with and one with out a skimmer, the maintenance routine is pretty much the same (if anything the one with the skimmer is a little more since I have to clean the skimmer occasionally)
