New 75gal tank, to upgrade or second tank?

So I grabbed a 75gal tank, stand, filter for cheap (love the used ads!) and well now Im wondering should I upgrade from my 38gal or should I do a whole new tank?

I dont have the lighting for the 75gal yet and my current lights are only 36" so im thinking I should start building up the 75gal and getting in going the after I get it all setup slowly start to merge the 2 tanks.

Ideas? Thoughts?

really comes down to what you want to do with it. Do you want 2 tanks (MTS, or multiple tank syndrome is promoted here at AA - LOL) or just one larger one?

By having 2 allows you to have some variety in your life, so that's my vote.

well thats just it, I mean with the 75gal tank I could get some of the smaller tangs or a puffer or even a butterfly fish which of course are way to big for my 38gal tank
