new salt water tank startup info

i am thinking of starting up a saltwater fish tank. i already have a 69g freshwater. here are my questions

1-whats the smallest size tank i can go
2-what is procedure for cycling
3-what equipment do i need
4-etc......

the more info i can get, the better.............

1. the bigger the better and the more forgiving your tank will be on mistakes and problems.
