New star polyps

I just added a new star polyp frag to my 100 galon tank could anyone please tell me how long it will take to grow and possibly how big it will get. Also how much lighting would it need to thrive and how will i know if it is getting the food i am giving it

In the right conditions star polyps will grow like a weed how big it gets will depend on how much you want to keep it trimmed back

thank you so much how would i go about keeping it trimmed ive never done it before so when the time comes i would like to do it without damaging it

Best way is to just frag them down kinda small every so often

just peel up the purple mat as it grows to keep it from growing in unwanted areas.

if i frag it down would it live so i could use it again or will the new frag die
